Secutech Thailand 2024 closes, celebrating success in safety solutions

Bangkok, 13 November 2024. Secutech Thailand 2024 successfully drew to a close at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), bringing together security and safety industry professionals dedicated to creating a safer future. From 30 October – 1 November 2024, 200 exhibitors showcased a wide range of technologies and solutions essential to industry growth, attracting nearly 6,500 visitors from 47 countries and regions. Among them were the top 10 visiting countries Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, UAE, and Vietnam. The diverse participants fostered valuable insights and opened up new opportunities for business development in Thailand and across international borders. Meanwhile, the concurrent Fire & Safety event allowed participants to further explore essential connections between security and safety solutions, with the co-located Building and Architect Thailand emphasising the integration of architectural design with safety considerations.

Secutech Thailand 2024 show dates confirmed with strong industry supports

Secutech Thailand to kick off in November 2023, converging solutions for EEC project demands

A reunion of key players from the security, fire safety and smart building industries is scheduled to take place in the heart of the ASEAN region later this year from 1 – 3 November 2023, as Secutech Thailand returns to the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). With investment continuing to flow into Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), industry players will be looking to find new business connections in the manufacturing, infrastructure and smart city sectors at the fair, with some 250 exhibitors anticipated to display the latest innovations across the entire value chain, including international pavilions from Singapore and Germany.

Secutech Thailand moved to 2023 with concurrent Thailand Lighting and Building fairs to be merged

Originally scheduled to run from 30 November – 2 December 2022 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, Messe Frankfurt’s technology fairs in Thailand will now be held from 1 – 3 November 2023. The decision was made to allow the security, lighting and building industries adequate time to recover. In addition, the Thailand Lighting Fair will be merged into the Thailand Building Fair in order to capitalise on the success of the fairs’ smart city approach from previous editions.

Secutech Thailand, Thailand Lighting Fair and Thailand Building Fair will now take place in 2022

In response to recurrent outbreaks of Covid-19 in Thailand and surrounding ASEAN countries, Messe Frankfurt has decided to reschedule its trio of technology trade fairs for the Thai market until 2022. Originally scheduled to take place concurrently this November, Secutech Thailand, Thailand Lighting Fair and Thailand Building Fair have now been moved to the new timeslot of 30 November – 2 December 2022 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre.

Messe Frankfurt defers Secutech Thailand, Thailand Lighting Fair and Thailand Building to 2021

Messe Frankfurt has announced the deferment of its popular trio of technology trade fairs for the Thai market due to travel restrictions effecting business travel to the country. Secutech Thailand, Thailand Lighting Fair and Thailand Building Fair, originally scheduled to be held concurrently from 25 – 27 November at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, will instead take place from 24 – 26 November 2021 at the same venue.
