Thailand’s positive investment climate supports innovation
Proactive government policies are driving global trust in Thailand’s technology and infrastructure sectors. In 2025, total investment pledges reached approximately USD 60 billion, a 67% increase from the previous year, with strong growth in digital, advanced manufacturing, and innovation-driven industries[1]. Building on this foundation, the Digital Economy Promotion Agency is advancing the country’s smart city programme, aiming to expand from 37 to 105 designated smart city areas by 2027. The initiative, supported by approximately USD 320 million in related investment, prioritises smart living and cybersecurity, including a 5G ambulance network that enhances emergency response capability through real time digital connectivity[2]. This momentum positions the country as a regional centre for integrated safety, fire protection, and loT technologies, creating sustained demand for AI-enabled surveillance, intelligent monitoring systems, and connected command solutions across urban, industrial, and public-infrastructure projects.
Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch, commented: “Secutech Thailand is one of the region’s leading international trade fairs for security and fire safety solutions. Strategically located in the heart of Southeast Asia, the show leverages Thailand’s role as a hub for security, fire safety, and loT innovation. Supported by ongoing development projects in transportation, energy, e-governance, and public safety, the 2026 edition offers exhibitors direct access with decision-makers and opportunities to present the latest integrated solutions.”
Comprehensive solutions for safer, smarter cities and industries
Reflecting the growing demand for connected and digitalised safety solutions, Secutech Thailand 2026 will spotlight innovations that enhance protection, efficiency, and resilience across multiple sectors. Leading suppliers will be showcasing the latest security, fire, and smart technology portfolios to engage with project owners, integrators, and buyers seeking integrated solutions.
The fair will be organised around seven key application areas, each illustrating how digital networks and advanced analytics are improving safety, coordination, and operational effectiveness in everyday environments:
· Smart public safety: consisting of advanced surveillance cameras, video analytics, access control systems, and connected command centres that help public authorities and facility operators maintain situational awareness and respond quickly to incidents.
· Smart emergency response & disaster resilience: focusing on AI-driven surveillance, smart fire detection devices, emergency communication equipment, and command-and-control platforms that enable faster alerts and more coordinated disaster management.
· Smart buildings: specialising in integrated systems linking lighting, fire safety, energy management, and access controls to create safer, more efficient, and sustainable facilities.
· Smart city digital platform & urban operations: highlighting central control rooms, data analytics tools, and sensor networks that support smart infrastructure planning and improve municipal service delivery.
· Smart living: dedicated to connected home devices, intrusion alarms, smart doorbells, and neighbourhood safety applications that enhance residential protection and convenience.
· Smart industry: featuring sensors, robotics, automation, and loT-based solutions that enable predictive maintenance, monitor equipment in real time, and improve workplace safety.
· Smart mobility: comprising traffic management software, smart signals, CCTV, and vehicle to infrastructure communication systems that promote road safety and smoother transport operations.
Together, these areas illustrate how innovation is driving safer, smarter urban and industrial ecosystems throughout the region.
